For JGY, LXC was the single light of his life, his love, hope and joy. After he realises from GT that LXC didn't love him, didn't believe him, couldn't let him with a way to live - he breaks down completely. The self-sabotaging downward spiral of a man who gives up.

WWX is a terrible farmer, he can't bargain too. Supplies are low in the Burial Mounds and WQ needs a find a way to earn.

I want a time-travel story that acknowledges even though physically back-in-time LXC would look like a teenager, mentally LXC's age would be at least half a century older than MY.
I think that this would be likely a 100-150 year old LXC who had waited for low-cultivation NHS, WWX etc. to pass away, for the restrictions and surveillance on the coffin to get sloppy. He then would try to liberate both NMJ and JGY, for resurrection and/or reincarnation.

This LXC must have involved himself with most dark cultivation techniques to try and get back JGY, must have pieced together all the darkness that was underlying the surface of the cultivation world (in his search to understand JGY's story).
For this LXC, the A-Yao in his mind is desirable even if the real person now in front is a 14-15 year old, yet he would be careful that this A-Yao does not do things that puts himself or others in danger.
Maybe in years interim he had even imbibed the opinions of aristocracy - that A-Yao's upbringings had marred his soul so he must not be allowed to make wrong decisions.

Not to mention he cannot mask his hatred of Jin Guangyao or disgust about Nie Huaisang (to LXC's annoyance). Worse, Xue Yang gets wind somehow that WWX (his hero! <3) returned in MXY's body and attaches himself (especially when LWJ wanted to hide his identity to keep WWX safe)!

Will LWJ succeed in saving the world (or at least secure his own TBH)?

Option:
Part 1: In GT, fc!NMJ killed and/or dragged both LSZ and JGY into the coffin.
Part 2: But LSZ was somehow saved. In the coffin, with fc!NMJ's still super-high resentment (not sated by JGY alone) and about no possibility of his going to rest and returning to the reincarnation cycle, Chief Cultivator NHS makes a deal with Lan Sect. Conditions? In exchange of letting WWX be and Wen Yuan's identity remain hidden i.e. WWX and LSZ's life and the Lan Sect's social prestige - Lan Sect has to give up LSZ for fc!NMJ to vent on and exorcise his life's resentment! NHS assures Wangxian he will return LSZ alive, with all limbs intact.
Thing is, during Sunshot War NMJ used to rape all Wen captives before giving them to the soldiers to dispose off. fc!NMJ just needs to exercise that pattern again, on the last living Wen. OR NHS finds out (via experiments) that if fc!NMJ can use as cauldron a very young, very strong cultivator he'll regain more living aspects, and maybe his mind too! Who better than that hated Wenblood to drain for his da-ge?

After death, WQ suddenly finds herself back in the past, going up to CR to study. She decides she must fight this time, she has to get her hands dirty or her brother will suffer like last time, her family would be massacred. WRH and WC must die!

As she makes the party hurry, they reach earlier and she sees MY presenting the gift while surrounding students make insulting comments - oh, wasn't that the cunning, wily young man who took down WRH? She decides she is going to get him to work with her.
As she turns, she sees WWX giggling with JC - the kind boy she doomed and the sect heir who was infatuated with her. This time she'll ensnare JC so he must save her. This time WWX will walk the sunlit road with his heart's wish LWJ, she'll make sure of that.
